Default No bike for us today

Well the skies were not looking good so we did a car trip today, considering the many soaking downpours we encountered in our three hundred mile drive it was a good decision.

How can you tell it is Bike Week in NH?

The smell of wet bikers of course

Covered bridges do look good in the rain, this is the Orne connecting Dalton NH to Lunenburg VT

Church steeples look a little ominous, This is in Colebrook

Tripping railroad car, just before Colebrook

This is a Reliant Robin, made in England..very few reached our shores

and this is a Crosley

The sign says one thing but he said another, a very rained on Conn. rider

Very sinister looking

so you were in Woodstock and Lincoln....I know those vehicles, parked at the trading post in Lincoln. Kelly's tattoo right next door.
By the way, he does great work, and very reasonable.

We had some good riding both Tuesday and yesterday. Yesterday we took a coastal ride, started in Hampton ended in Old Orchard, alongthe way we met up with some members from the Laconia Bikeweek Forum who came in from Canada. Funny thing is we met them on Tuesday, knew they were headed to Maine yesterday, but from talking to them about their plans we figured they would be well towards Bar Harbor, yet they spotted us on the side of route 1 in Bidderford , so we hooked up and had a good time in OO, except for the lousiest lobster roll I ever had in my life !

Up to Meredith from the coast and back in a nice steady downpour. Oh what fun. For a really crazy time, my friend left for NJ at 7pm on Thursday in the rain.
