I used to commute to Albany, NY from Sunapee, NH twice a week. It was exactly three hours. Add another 30 minutes to Tilton. Tilton is a small town. It's near Lake Winnipisaukee so plenty to do in the summer.

Tell us more about your commute! I thought my daily commute to Boston was bad!

If you mean New York City from Tilton, then you probably will need a weekend.

According to Yahoo! Maps, it is 298 miles and a 4 hour and 45 minute drive. (I don't think Yahoo! Maps takes traffic into consideration.)
