Default Somersworth or Dover school system?

My wife and I have a 2 year old with another on the way. We are looking at two homes.

One is in Somersworth in a development off Old Dover Rd. while the other is in Dover off 6th Street. Both are in great neighborhoods and are surrounded by newer homes. However, the home in Somersworth is cheaper, completely move-in ready while the other one in Dover is more expensive and would need some work.

Our dilema at this point is the school systems. Although we haven't heard any horror stories, some people have suggested that the Somersworth school system is not that great. We've also heard some of the same things about Dover.

I'm a firm believer that it's all about how you raise your kids outside of the classroom, but we also want our children to have a great education and experience in the classroom.

If anyone has any suggestions/comments on the Somersworth or Dover school systems, it would be greatly appreciated since we are leaning towards the home there. Thank you.
