Relocation to NH- Redfield Neighborhood within Derry? (Salem: homes, transfer)

My husband is being transferred to NH for his job and I was looking at the Redfield, NH neighborhood within Derry, NH. Anyone familiar with this area??

I used to live a 1/2 mile down the road on Adams Pond Road.....

It's a very nice area and a few good friends of mine live there still

The Redfield Circle area is nice neighborhood of single family, mostly contemporary-style homes, sort of a tucked-away little neighborhood, so no cut-through traffic. The homes were built in the 80's and I've seen quite a few that have passive solar. Also, there are quite a few homes that back up to the neighborhood pond (lots of trees in between). The pond is used by the kids for fishing, skating, etc. Definitely worth a look. Depending on where your husband is working, you'll get to learn the back roads to avoid the traffic circle, as it can become somewhat of a nightmare at school-bus & commuter hours!

Thanks for all the info, my husband will be working in Salem, so hopefully it will not be too far for him!

gosh no...Salem is 10 minutes from Redfield circle and a direct route over back roads.
