Default Fishing spots near Nashua

A co-worker's Dad is visiting for a few weeks and he was asking about fishing around Nashua. I think he is interested in fishing for food rather than sport and they don't have a boat.
What are some good spots to start with where someone can stand on the shore?

Wish I could help but I've never fished out that way. Check out the NH fish and game website or look for forums specifically geared towards fishing. People tend to me pretty tight lipped about any good spot though. Goodluck.

So far I have taken my daughter fishing in the Mill pond of Mine Falls Park and she has hauled in quite a few Sunfish. My wife has cooked them up and the white meat is tasty. I think my friends Dad is interested in more than Sunfish.

This thread has made me want to start fishing again more often! The fishing in VA was awful!

I've fished in spots all over Nashua, but never wanted to eat anything. One of my neighbors ate a huge carp I pulled out of the Merrimack though. He said it was OK, but there's no way I would have eaten it. What sort of fish is he looking for?
