Things to do in Manchester?
Would you say that there is an adequate amount of things to do for young people in Manchester?
things we enjoy include eating out, going to bars, live music, as well as things such as hiking, camping, and boating. Any especially dog friendly park recommendations would be helpful as well.
Thank you

Yes, my wife and I are in our late 20s and have relocated from northern VA to the area, and I'm originally from not-to-far from NYC or Philly. We don't live in Manchester- but live not far away in a town neighboring Nashua. No problems finding restaurants, bars, music or anything else we could want. Want the ocean? 1 hour away. Want lakes? 1 hour to the big ones. Want a big city (Boston)? less than 1 hour. Want amazing hiking or cute towns? 1 hour or less...2 hours for BIG mountains. Restaurants, shopping, music...all right there so no need to even list a "time"; there are even plenty of smaller local lakes and hiking...
We'll be here for 2 years in August and are continually finding more and more to do- at this point I could do something every weekend of the year and still not do everything I'd like to that year.

Catch Fishercats games at Merchants stadium, Monarchs games at the Verizon, along with other shows/concerts, the Currier Museum of Art is very nice! Lake Mascabesic is great for kayaking, walking and biking trails. There is quite a bit to do, and within an hour or two you can be at the ocean, in the mountains, etc.

Depends what you're into. If you like hip hop discos, cruisin' with your radio blaring, taking drugs or loitering around the mall it's fine.
Otherwise it gets old fast.
