We've had some issues too - Our internet has been freezing up on and off, not sending emails and our TV has been "dropping out" for a second or 2 at a time. We're in Candia. I know a guy that had issues in Auburn too.
I personally don't like Comcast. We've had nothing but problems since we signed on with them and they never seem to be able to find the cause!! I wish we had more options for here. Verizon is not available to our area. Dish and Directv are...but we don't want DSL for our internet. : ( I've had that before and it was really slow here.
So - we just "suck it up" and DEAL with it. But we dont' like it

No problems with the internet. From time to time I get some pixilization of the tv. Nothing that bad.

Do you have a rental modem. you could trade it in. If not, unplug it for a minute and plug it back in to reset it and down load any new software upgrades.

Same for the tv convertor. I had problems and unplugged it for a few minutes and plugged it back in resetting the unit.

We have noticed some pixilation (great word BTW) and sound loss on Comcast. It seems most common on the Weather channel. I wonder if it is on the signal they are recieving or the signal thay are sending out to us?

the problem went away for a while and now its back

comcast says it might be their system refusing access for my modem. they say it drops it randomly, and that i need to power cycle it to get it back online

I had a problem again on Friday - internet wouldn't come up at all. After speaking to Comcast several times, having them send "refresh" signals to the modem, having me disconnect everything and reconnect it again (2 times), it wasn't until I disconnected the router at the same time as the modem, then reconnected all of it and it came back up ok. What a mess.

No problems here. In fact, I'm pretty amazed at their service. My speed has increased from 5 megabits to over 30 megabits in less than 2 years. Now if we could only get monthly US broadband costs to go DOWN now that adoption is so much higher than when they were initially rolling it out...
