Default Good gosh, Portsmouth = Ridiculous!

I am so disappointed that I only spent a few hours in Portsmouth when venturing back to CT from Portland. Wow, what a nice town, and I loved all of the old historical buildings. I'll be sure to spend more time in Portsmouth the next time I venture up to New England.

Sadly, I'm back in NJ (family lives in CT/Western MA). Have a good one.

Portsmouth is very nice and you had nice weather as well. Glad you enjoyed your stay-even though it was a short one!

I love Portsmouth; my wife and I were there in June, and, like yourself, could only spend a little time there. NH is a great state; if I could only convince my wife to move there.....

Newburyport in NE Mass., Portsmouth in NH and Portland in Maine are three of the neatest cities I have ever visited. Sitting in the downtown park and watching the tug boats fighting the outgoing tide under the bridge is fascinating.
