That's a parking ticket. A municipal "violation". Not a state offense.

Yup. It was a town ordinance that the town council had passed. Probably on a different scale than moving violations, etc.

The Moultonborough police didn't do anything to influence me in a positive manner. My 2 month old 2011 car with PA inspection stickers that expire 10 months for now was of no interest to them.
The NH car inspection was over the 10 day grace period and that was that. Another victimless crime solved in their small minds and the check was cashed so fast my head is still spinning.
In summary: watch out, the police are not so nice anymore and they want to ticket/revenue you -- at least the Moultonborough, NH variety. Oh, and I looked on the map and they patrol the Center Harbor area for revenue because that's where they hit me up for 62 bucks...

Does anyone know what the large construction site is in Moultonboro off route 25 just south of Moultonboro Academy? It looked like it was quite a recent development and was fairly large to be noticeable from the road.
