Birthday at restaurant (Manchester, Nashua, Merrimack: coupons, homes, buy) - City-Data Forum

My wife's birthday is coming up and before the Newick's in Merrimack closed we always went there for dinner as they took $10 off the meal if a member of your table had a birthday that day (they would check drivers licenses).
Does anyone know of a restaurant local to the Nashua area that does anything special for someone's birthday (besides singing at the tableside)?
We rarely eat out nowadays unless we have a coupon or get a break like Newicks used to. My wife is very frugal and enjoys a bargain.
Any suggestions?

Margarita's in Nashua or Manchester (or other locations) will send you a coupon on your birth month but first you have to sign up. I bet if you call them ahead of time and ask the manager to give you the discount, he/she would...

Alternatively, get a copy of the Spectrum magazine (one of those coupon books you get in the mail) and start clipping... there are usually a few restaurant coupons in each. I know that Fratello's of Manchester likes to put $10 coupons in that paper.

One more thought - I know that Fratello's and Cactus Jack's will give you a $1 free in gift certificates for every $5 you buy in gift certificates... so buy gift certificates for yourself then use them. The Common Man usually does something similar.

The Homestead Tavern in Londondery. Great food and setting. They may discount for a birthday. Call and ask.

We got a coupon for Ruby Tuesday's with today's paper. Buy one entree, get the second free. We have used such coupons three times before as we enjoy the salad bar then take most of the main course meal home for later in the week. The salad bar is cheaper when you order it with a meal.
We will probably go there.
My wife doesn't want us to spend any more money than necessary.
