Is it uncommon to find a safe area of NH that has houses under $150k?

There is not a whole lot to chose from with that price (assuming that you're looking for a single family home), and would most likely be well away from the southern border of the state (where jobs are most plentiful). However, I did a quick search, and there are some out there. What are you looking for in a home? Maybe I can narrow down the search a bit...

Hi GhostPoet, thanks for the tip. I'm on an email list from a NH Real Estate Agent already. Both my wife and I will be looking around the $400k mark. But I did say in my earlier posts that that would be it. I would need to find work very soon after we moved over as it might be bit tight money wise for a while

Sounds very nice windchimes, how much are they looking to sell for? Have they got a Real Estate Agent and if so which one? Many thanks in advance

Joppa,
I live in Fitzwilliam, NH, I can set Mt Monadnock (most climbed mountain in the state). I've lived her all my life. There are lots of beautiful areas within the state. It is expensive, depending upon where you live but whatever you decided I know you'll love it here. If you need questions answered please ask. Don't let age stop you from living your dreams, life is too short!

That's a lovely area of NH! I've hiked Mt. Monadnock a few times. It's not a hard climb, and fabulous view from the top! We can sometimes see Mt. Monadnock from the Milford/Wilton area. It's only an hour from Bedford.

Thank you Lecia, I would love to climb Mt Monadnock. My ambition is to walk the Appalachian trial.............or at least the northern part of it
I love the photos of NH that have been taken by various other members on the Forum. I really envy you for having lived there all of your live. If your the out door type, there can be nothing better.
As for it being expensive in NH, believe me living here in England has to be one of the most expensive places on the planet
