Hmmm Demolition Derby that sounds like alot of fun. It a shame Dutchess
County fair was ruined. I used to go with my son when he was little that must be at least 12 yrs ago. Well I can't wait to try the NH ones. Especially
the derby.

There are a few fairs in that area, so you can check them all out! North Haverhill Fair (near Woodsville) and the Caledonia County Fair in Lyndonville, VT come to mind.

The Lancaster Fair is pretty popular, too. I use to go to it every September.

Lancaster only has 1 I believe. But I haven't seen the schedule yet. According to the neighbor it is Monday the 3rd of September at 3:30. But as I said I have not seen the schedule yet. Hopkinton Fair Has 2 and they are Excellent but sell out VERY FAST you must prebuy the tickets on line or you wont get in. But on the positive note, You can also prebuy the fair tickets so you won't have to wait in a 1 and a half hour line. Deerfield fair has 1 or 2 as well, and I think Haverhill Fair has one as well. As well as the Stratham fair. I know there are more but I can't think of what ones do beyond that. Every now and then, Only 2 times have I driven in a Demolition Derby. But it is fun. If you go to one and I am in it you will know. Electricians are easy to spot. LOL Hey I have a link that will help in favorites ( hold please ) Check this out it is updated already http://www.nhfairs.com/fairdates.html (broken link) This is every state fair.( Warner fall foliage fest isn't in here. But that isn't truly a fair either. But if you get the chance check it out. It is fun.)
I can tell you Deerfield Fair Has the National Championship OX Pulls Ox and Horse Pulls are my thing. I like the derby's But I love the pulls. The free for alls and the 3200 lbs and under class if it is near me, I will be there. Anyway hope this helps you.

20070401 Lancaster, NH pictures from scenery & nature photos on webshots
edsanders.com - Northern Gateway - Lancaster, New Hampshire, USA Area Info
The webshots link, the first 1, has no Photo's of Lancaster. It does have 1 of the lights in Carrol on RT 3 heading toward exit 35 on 93. But none of Lancaster. Good thing too. As I didn't recognize any of those buildings. lol
The other link is very informative though.

I wondered about the first link, but it popped up in a Google search....The pics you posted were definitely more helpful! I'd like to know why they included the photo of the donut.........hehehehe
