We had our wedding reception at The Executive Court (South Mammoth Road, Manchester) back in 2001, and it was truly beautiful.

In June, my daughter had her wedding reception in a really cool huge historic New England barn in Groton, MA (just south of NH line). It is called The Williams Barn, I think. It was truly magical, with little tiny white lights along all the beams, and a huge center aisle with hanging birdcage and flowers over the wedding cake table in the center. It was like something out of a Bridal magazine and was awesome. If you want further info, let me know or pm me.

Default Second for Castelton in Windham NH

Granted, this was over 10 years ago, but I held my wedding reception there. Great place for pictures, etc...nice white gazebo by a pond. I imagine a nice place for the ceremony too..........the staff was excellent, food was great, and it is a short ride from Manchester. Good luck!

Default Wedding Venue Suggestions

I have a similar question. I want to do my own catering, so all the suggestions people made for you won't work for me. I'm looking for a reception location to accommodate 100 - 150 for a Winter wedding next year. We live in the Durham area, and woud prefer a place that's beautiful in the winter as well as cozy inside.

I am rather surprised no one has mentioned Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough in the lakes region. Beautiful and immaculate, scenic views of Winipisaukee, all the outdoor space you could ask and I believe inside is accommodating for your size party.

Hi Beth,
Have you found any halls that will allow you to bring in food, your own caterer, etc.?
Lynn

I'm getting married at Rye Harbor SP this summer. Awesome location, and it requires a little more logisitics as far as tent, chairs, caterer, DJ, etc, but it's still cheaper than most weddings, and the view alone is worth any penny. We're doing a lobersterbake as well.......just pray for sun please.
