Which of the following restaurants is considered the most romantic, and fine dining, also which has better food? I want to be able to wear that pretty little black dress.

number them from 1 - 4, 1 being the best and 4 being the worst please

Buckley's Great Steaks - Merrimack, NH
Bedford Village Inn Restaurant - Bedford, NH
Angelina's Ristorante Italiano - Concord, NH
Granite Restaurant & Bar - Concord, NH

Or Are there better restaurants within 40 minutes TOPS from Concord, NH?
Any help please... It's for my birthday

Thanks!

Is Amherst 40 minutes away or less? I've heard great things about Eden.

Eden Restaurant & Lounge, Amherst, NH (http://www.edenrestaurantandlounge.com/home.htm - broken link)

A friend of mine went there for her anniversary. I want to go there now!

I've been to Bedford Village Inn a couple of times. If you want to go for a romantic evening I assume you want to hear yourself talk. They have different rooms. I've been in the tavern, and that's not bad. There is another main dining room that looks very quiet, but probably more $$. I'd save that for an anniversary or other special occasion.

I like the Common Man mini chain but then I almost never go out for a "romantic" dinner.

The Bedford Village Inn is romantic and the food is delicious. Try www.yelp.com or Chowhound Boards - Chowhound for user reviews if you're looking for feedback on all those restaurants.

I would avoid Granite in Concord, service is awful.. Angelina's has pretty good food, but I wouldn't really consider it fine dining. Maybe a step below.

Of the ones you listed by far the Bedford Village in would be fine dining and the most romantic. I like the sites Hotels and Vacation Reviews - TripAdvisor for information. Good luck dining out is one of my most favorite topics!

I like the BVI tavern, but have only had lunches/drinks there.

Inn at Pleasant Lake or Rockwells' at the New London Inn both make your 40 minutes from Concord limit (barely). Food and service is good at both, and they are definitely quite and romantic, but without being stuffy.
