No real advice to give on Glenolden, but you may want to post the question in the Philadelphia subforum on the PA board. I'm sure a lot of folks there will be able to help you out with information more specific to that area and complex inparticular.

I have to be honest with you, the schools in that part of Delaware Co. are made up of a low income region of Darby, Col Wynn and other less desireable areas. It used to be a great area but I'm afraid you will have to shell out for private school in that part of DelCo. If you up your home price, you can get into Interboro, Ridley Park or Springfield and you are way better.
I believe you can live on a certain border of Glenolden and be part of the Interboro distrct; don't quote me on that.
