Default Vultures in Wenonah

So, we were driving back from Wenonah Lake on Cattell Road. And there were two neighboring houses with roofs covered with vultures. It was crazy! I've never seen something like that. Very cool.

I did some reading on the internet and see that it is common as they have started roosting in the area in the winter. But is it common for them to still be here in June? It looks like they were the black vultures.

Just curious.

Turkey vultures/buzzards? They are getting quite common these days. There is one flock who set up residency in my old neighborhood in Voorhees. They just kind of chilled and walked around. I see a lot of them down my way in the Swedesboro area, but that's to be expected with all the open space.

Actually, it looked more like they were the black vultures.

I read that the two majors are turkey and black, but these didn't have the red heads.

I saw 2 in town in Mt Holly 2 weeks ago, they were just sitting on a truck and antoher one sitting on a building, when I got to close to take a photo, they flew away and moved to a higher roof. They look nice and wild when u see them up close. One was black and the other a lighter color, don't remember exactly but I saw them a few times this year.
