Aren't you supposed to trick or treat in your own neighborhood?

I am not to up in what areas are good for this in Vineland. I would drive around and scope out what neighborhoods look nice.. Tarp- when we were in Philly, our neighborhood were filled with kids from North Philly, etc who came up to our area to trick or treat because their areas were not safe enough to. They would come up in car loads.

My parents live in Collingswood and it has been the same story there for years. People come from Camden in vans loaded with kids to drop them off to trick or treat at the stores on Haddon Ave. and then descend on the neighborhoods. It's not a bad thing per se as the vast majority are just looking to do something nice with their kids. Heck, they're probably nicer than the local kids when it comes to saying thank you and staying off peoples lawns, lol.
As for Vineland, I have no idea. It's a very spread out town. The first thing I would check into is whether or not the businesses on Landis Ave. have any kind of organized trick or treating in the downtown. If they don't, maybe see if the Cumberland Mall has something at their stores. Failing that, I really wouldn't know where to recommend as the neighborhoods are spread out and some areas are sketchy while others are great. It may ultimately be worth it to take a trip up to Pitman or Mullica Hills downtown and go trick or treating there.

If you will be working that week I'd ask someone at work. If not, go back to your other threads & check to see which part of Vineland is considered better & go there.
