A rabbit rescue is a group that rescues DOMESTICATED rabbits, i.e. pet rabbits. They do not get involved with wild rabbits, which are a different species.

FWIW we also have a huge number of wild rabbits in our yard this year, and they are very brazen. Conditions must have been very conducive to their multiplying - I am guessing the mild winter had something to do with it.

If I walk down my street I will see a minimum of 3 rabbits in every single yard. It is like they had a population explosion. And every flower they say rabbits don't eat have been eaten. We gave up and planted fake flowers in our yard. They actually look pretty good and don't get eaten.

Send over your cats. Maybe that would fix my rabbit problem.

We always have rabbits where we are, but this year there are a lot more of them then there were last year. The hawks need to get busy.

Default overrun with lagamorphs

Will be a good year for hawks and fox next year.

Bunnies are spontaneous ovulators which means they ovulate upon stimulation. Prey anaimals always have an edge for quick reproduction. Watching groups of them is cheap entertainment.

Check out rabbit recipes.

Katie bar the door! wrap up all your young tree seedlings and plant aletrnative crops....a form of blackmail. Of course dogs do wonders to keep critters away. Cheap, green and foolproof.

Yep they are lagomorphs, almost sounds like some group the feds want to protect. Lagomorph hate crimes are on the rise.
