Default I miss the quesadillas

The BF closures have been a real disappointment - been craving a decent quesadilla since they closed Cherry Hill and now Voorhees. Are there any other places in Gloucester that fit the bill? There don't seem to be any mexican grill places that do quesadillas left besides Moe's in Deptford which I'm not a fan of. Beyond that there are only a couple of Qdobas in Camden Co. that are impractically far to drive to for a food craving (as were the BF locations if not for the fact I worked in the area at the time).

We have a Mexican restaurant in Glassboro that apparently has decent food including quesadillas, but I've been warned they are not welcoming of non-Latino people - if you don't at least speak Spanish you're apparently treated like scum there. I wish that were the first time I've heard of that issue with area Mexican restaurants, but it seems to be pretty common for some reason. I'm guessing no one told them about the numbering system like they do at Chinese restaurants to prevent people from hacking up their language. As such, I have yet to visit any of them as I don't really want to give money to people that are so openly bigoted.

Never had that problem in BF, Qdoba, ect...

Really?
I'm not from South Jersey, but I've never felt disrespected or insulted in any taqueria or Mexican resturant I've ever patronized in North Jersey. The interaction is sometimes short & awkward due to communication issues, but "treated like scum"? Never. What sends up red flags for me are words & phrases like "I've been warned & I've heard". Irresponsibly spewing such hearsay for an audience of god knows how many people to read is beyond reprehensible. Condemning an already marginal immigrant population by "What you've heard" lets me know more about you than it does any random taqueria in Southern New Jersey (that & the fact that you mention pedestrian Mexican fare like quesadillas more than once).

I've been to a few local Mexican places, one of which in the Clementon area is very authentic and family run and never have I experienced any kind of bigotry because I can't speak Spanish. Some of the ones I've been to in Philly there is a definite language barrier because they are used to primarily serving Spanish speakers and most of their staff doesn't speak English, but I don't take the language barrier as being cold, even if it can seem that way to some people.

Try Don Pablo's on Nixon Drive in Eastgate. An older friend & her husband started going there when it opened. Her husband died & when she went back after his death the waiter brought her order & sat down & talked to her while she ate.. When she finished, he resumed his job. She's since died, so I can't ask her for an update.

And just what 1st hand knowledge do you have of Glassboro? My sister has lived in Pitman for over 30 years & she & her husband don't go to restaurants in Glassboro.

I hate hate to see any business fail, but I tried the BF in Mt.Laurel and found it forgetable.
I drove by it daily and wanted to like it as much as I like Moe's.
I was disappointed , went once and never went back.
