Rehoboth beach and Wildwood are not in the stratosphere when it come to family friendly. Come on. The Wildwoods are most likely 4 times the size and attracts 10 times as many people as RB de.
Forget raw size. Neverminding the not-so-implicit homophobia in your previous post, please tell me what about Wildwood is more family-friendly than Rehoboth Beach. Please also tell me how and why an increased gay presence in Wildwood would prevent you from having a good time.
Frank won't agree, but growing up we in the eastern CHill/Voorhees area didn't really have a high opinion of WW. Our shore towns were Margate, Sea Isle, OC, and Avalon/Stone Harbor. Of course, Heavenwood might argue that this isn't a correlation between hometowns and shoretowns, but rather between Jews and shoretowns.

Its just more family oriented.. The restaurants, the boardwalk, the rides.. RB has nothing like it..
GLBT folks tend to find an area to keep to themselves. This happens on both streets and the beach in Rehoboth. It makes it that everyone is welcome but, if you choose to avoid it because of reasons of your own, then you have that option. The rest of Rehoboth goes on and on, not much different than WW, OC, SH, etc. I just think that a gayborhood at the beach has an up$ide potential. It has to be better than the "Holly Beach Mall" area is looking these days. Like a wasteland.
Bottom line, Wildwood don't 'need' gays . It is dong fine as an excellent family resort thank you.. We just got back from there for four days and had a wonderful time. Ya want gay people go to Rehoboth beach De. Problem solved

I don't think it's per se a Jewish thing. Growing up, I seldom heard anyone describe Wildwood as anything but a trash heap. My dad was there recently and called it a filthy, cheesy mess. Of course, frank disagrees, as do many other people, I'm sure. I, myself, haven't been to Wildwood in ages, so I'll reserve judgment as to its current state. Hopefully I can get over there next season and find out once and for all where I stand.
And soug, Sea Isle and OC aren't really Jewish at all. Jews may go there for the day, but they seldom buy property there. Avalon/Stone Harbor are also far from characteristically Jewish, although they currently have a smattering of Jewish families (and the Jewish population is definitely on the rise).

I agree, I was just wondering if there was more to it that I was missing.
How did it go anti-Jewish from "add some gay"?? LOL One minority at a time!
