I just transferred my car to New Jersey, and I'm worried I'm going to fail inspection for stupid reasons if I take it to a state inspection facility.

Like for example my driver's side window rolls down, but doesn't always want to roll back up. And my windshield has a crack at the very bottom that's been there for three years without any issues. And one of my mirrors is perfectly functional, but I had to glue it after I got clipped by another driver.

There's no reason to fix any of this stuff because my car is 17 years old and I honestly don't plan to have it for another two years.

I don't think it will fail the emissions (it never has before), but it's definitely not in tip top shape.

Does anywhere know a place I can take it where they wont try to nail me for all the minor things that are wrong with it?

Like OC said, Bj will pass your car if it passes emissions. But should should be fine at a free state run facility

Like everyone else said, the state has ended all "maintenace/safety" inspections. The only thing tested at inspection facilities are emissions. As long as you are confident you will check out OK for emissions, there is no reason not to go to a state facility.
