My husband thinks it's the same owner...same dog. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to **** the hubby off.

If your municipality has a curb your dog law, if you see someone allowing a dog to go on your property, go out & nicely request that the owner pick it up. If there isn't a law, you're out of luck. If you don't see it happen, you're out of luck.

I can't stand that either.
Get a camera for outside. There are wireless ones that should be reasonably priced. If they're caught on video, you now have something for a formal complaint.

Otherwise, walk outside and say something like, "Hey Mister, you forgot something" and point at the pile of sh*t.

Also, if you know where s/he lives, put the poop in a brown lunch bag, bring it to their house, and say "Hey, you forgot this at my house" and put it on their front porch. If they're not home, just leave a note.

Good luck, hope something works out for you.

Talk to them. If that doesn't work, pee on them.

Never joke about shooting dogs. First I would ask them to stop. Ten would just take a photo and call the cops. Maybe put out signs with the photo.

I would put a sign on your lawn LOT OF 4 This is Not Your Dog's Bathroom Please Keep by signlady4u or this one http://www.thefind.com/pets/info-no-dog-poop-sign
If after that does not work then pick up the poop after you see that the dog actually did it with a photo if possible for proof and got to their house and say you left this on my property. Please dispose of it.

If you have a dog it is your responsibility to take care of it and that means picking up after it. I wouldn't dare let my kids out if they were not to pick up after it and this is an ADULT !!! Good luck and you are going to have confrontation no matter what way you look at it. I used to live on a corner lot and I used to have it happen to me a lot I put up sign but never actually caught the culprit then moved

Ask the town to put up a municipality sign usually they will ie fine for not picking up after your dog that way you can use it as a reference when you return the POOP to them saved them a fine ha ha!! !!! Good luck!!
