Earlier I posted a thread asking about homes to buy near Patco, (~0-15min drive) and now I would like to evaluate my options in the other directions - renting near Patco. I have searched for similar threads, but they are a few years old - so I'm hoping new options have popped up.
I'm most interested in looking at something in the $1,200 range, a few places I really like are The Collings at The Lumberyard, however, this seems to be well over my budget and the property is pretty poorly reviewed.
I also have family that lives in The Victor Lofts in Camden, so I'm familiar with the property, and it actually does really appeal to me, seems to fit the location and budget, well reviewed, but then again, I would be living on a little island in Camden and there wouldn't be much town to go out on.
If anyone has any recent personal experience with some properties, I'd love to hear them. As always, thank you for your knowledge and time.
I would check out these apartments in Haddon Twp (Westmont area, along Haddon Ave). Just opened, so I'm sure you could get a deal. Easy walk to PATCO and right by bars/restaurants, Cooper River etc. Albertson Village - Walters Group Apartments
They look very nice, but even the base rate at 1,500 is on the high end of my price range and all of the ones they have listed start at 1,800+ way out of my budget.

Don't know about that specific neighborhood, but the further you head down the PATCO line towards Lindenwold out there, the worse things will get. I'd suggest you look at craigslist rental postings for collingswood or haddon township. Or checkout mainstreet realty in collingswood as well, as they do a lot of rental listings for collingswood. You won't find a nice apartment complex with amenities with rents in your price range, but you find some decent units in much better locations than out on the other side of 295. I see quite a few decent enough 2bd units in collingswood for under $1200 on craigslist right now.
