Hi, Tawanna. Thanks so much for the info! Hopefully anyone thinking about relocating to Camden will find this thread and see your info! If we want neighborhoods and cities to be "better" then we need more people to move in and share their good experiences with others. It makes me happy to see this. Although I never had the opportunity to live in or near Camden, I find it impossible to truly believe that an entire city is a lost cause.

Funny story-- I actually visited Camden this summer by accident! We were in Pennsylvania for a wedding and went to Philadelphia for a few days with our kiddos (and so my husband could gorge himself on cheesesteaks -- 5 in 2 days). I was driving and accidentally got on the bridge (I wanted to go the opposite way and the GPS was not at all helpful right then), and we ended up in Camden for a bit! We should have driven around for a bit and checked everything out for ourselves, but we were in a hurry to get to the wedding.

Haven't been there for a few years but when I think of Camden the term Vomit Fountain fits well.

There are two community rooms with vending machines, and large televisions and a grand piano. There is a bank, bar/restaurant, grocery store and Edibles connected to the lofts and the Waterfront is your back yard. I paid a little under $2,000 and it was worth every penny. You will only be in Camden for seconds as the highway to leave is a few minutes up the road and the college is across the street. Why live any where else. If you need luxury, convenience, safety and a gated community closed in feel, then the Victor Lofts is ideal.
You paid 2000$ per month to live in Camden, NJ?
