Default Tell me about Voorhees...

Interested in information on Voorhees.

How's life there?
Is it a family friendly area?
Safe?
Schools?
People?
What's to do there?

We are a family of 4 with 2 toddlers... Coming from Georgia.

Good, affluent area, very good schools, high taxes. Good location, near 295, lots to do, lots of shopping, restaurants nearby. New Voorhees town center being built at the old Echelon Mall. Like Cherry Hill, not a walkable town but the new town centers in both towns are major attractions. Yes it is safe and a very good family town. It also has easy access to the Patco train line that runs to center city Philly.

Wow! Thank you! Do you recommend any specific neighborhoods or areas to live for families? Apartments? Townhomes? We are interested in renting.

Thanks again!

There are lots of townhomes in Voorhees, many of them around the new Town Center. Suggest you talk to a realtor about rentals and go see a few.

Are you working in Voorhees? Are you set to live there? There are many nearby towns that offer different things that may appeal to you less/more and yet still have EASY access to Voorhees. All depends on your budget, goals, desires.

But overall Voorhees is a clean safe area with good schools. The mall (Echelon) is on its last leg though...

Echelon Glenn has 3 bedrooms. I rented there and liked it. It has sidewalks to the mall/library and big park, the elementary school is also just up the road. It's a big complex so one part might be better than the other.

The Echelon Mall is the new Voorhees town center, completely redone.
