Hello Everyone

I live in Philadelphia, but want to have my wedding somewhere with really pretty grounds and of course a nice interior. I have found 1 place we love but still want to get ideas, b/c our wedding isn't until 2012. Does anyone have any suggestions for receptions in Jersey? Anything in south Jersey (not near new york or anything more than an hour from Philly). Thanks so much!!!

The Seaview in Galloway is nice. Lots of South Jersey weddings there.

I just attended a wedding at Drexelbrook, about 10 minutes from Philly. Beautiful patio for appetizers and cocktail hour, great food and the room itself was lovely. Best service ever for a wedding reception.

I've attended events at both of these places and they were arguably the most amazing event venues I've ever seen in my entire life. They're both owned by the same gentleman and the meticulous designs of the buildings and grounds are absolutely astounding.

What is your price range? I am a wedding Officiant and I can point you to a bunch of nice places but not without knowing your budget. High end, the Merion is gorgeous as is The Mansion on Main in Voorhees.
