Ponzio's in Cherry Hill is really good (but has higher prices than a lot of diners). We go to Geets in Williamstown all the time. I know this isn't south, but there's also a well-known one on Bordentown (I forget the name) that has the best bread anywhere! I have to say I really miss diners when I go to non-diner states and am forced to go to Denny's or Waffle House. Aside from the food not being that great, none of the kids who work there can hold a candle to a veteran Jersey diner waitress!

I think that the diner in Bordentown that you're referring to is Mastori's. Mastoris Diners

Yes, that's it! We used to go there when I lived in Jackson years ago. There used to be a longer wait on Sunday morning/afternoon than most "regular" restaurants but it was worth it!
