Good to hear that there is quality pizza in BH. How about Chinese food?

The EAST right beside Stop&Shop is OK. It's not pure Chinese food. More like Japanese and Chinese fusion. There is take-out in the same plaza. However, I don't eat Chinese take-out because they are not Chinese food at all. I would rather go to Asian supermarket (on RT22) and buy hot foods from the supermarket. The food is better and cheaper. I think there are also some Chinese restaurants along RT22 and they are not far from BH.

I work in Manhattan. Do you know if there is a long waiting list for parking at the BH train station? Also, I have heard that some people just drive to Newark Penn Station and park in the garage there. Is that a viable option?

I just call town hall last week and waiting list is 3 years. My neighbor is driving to Jersey City (Journal Square) and coonect to PATH. We are driving to Newark because I am working in Newark. We leave home 7:30am and drop my son to preschool first and then drive to Newark. We can be in the parking lot around 8:15. PATH train takes around 30 minutes to WTC. In the evening, I drive back first to pick up my son. My husband will take PATH and connect to NJT from Hoboken.
Another option you can use is parking in New Providence or Murray Hill. Non resident parking is 1000 per year. You can even look houses in New Providence, then you only pay 300 per year for parking in either one station.

So it sounds like the drive from BH to Newark Penn Station is about 40-45 minutes. That is not too bad. My office is on 34th and 7th ave, so I can take the NJ transit which would be around 22 minutes from Newark.

How much is a parking pass at Newark Penn Station?

The driving to Newark Penn Station is actually 25 minutes. Mostly we get a little bit traffic when getting closer to Newark so end up Door to Door driving is around 40 minutes.
I park right across the prudential center which is 5 minutes walk to Penn Station. I paid $100 per month. There are some more lots, but a little bit further away and it's cheaper.
If you need to take 33rd street PATH to the office, you will need to switch in JSQ. It will take at least 35 minutes for the PATH alone. My husband's office is around WTC. The PATH train ride is 22 minutes, but he said usually takes around 30 minutes in the rush hours.

I wouldn't be taking the PATH, I would be taking the NJ Transit Commuter Train from Newark Penn Station to New York Penn Station. That's good to hear it only takes around 40 minutes door to door.

Marcello's pizza is amazing! I agree!!! Personally as far as neighborhoods are concerned, if I were to do it all over again, I'd try around Spring Ridge or over my Dogwood/Lorraine (both off of Mountain Avenue) Good luck!
