I think the traffic in there is pretty comparable to a lot of the other subforums on C-D. It's just that the NJ forum has some of the highest traffic so it looks pathetic in comparison.

Agree completely with the bolded part. I find the opposite to be true as well: not many from SJ know that much about Northern NJ either, so from that standpoint, the split does make sense.

I have a friend who lives in Passaic County, and he is asking me where to stay around Ft. Dix for his daughter's soccer tournament. He literally knows nothing about Burlington County. I haven't lived there in 5 years, but he's been calling me the last two days, getting feedback from me about towns to look for hotels in, restaurants, etc. The fact that he is only about 80 miles away from the area and knows nothing about it is astounding. And I told him that!
