On the Newport side, the boardwalk begins at the end of River Drive (also the end of 14th St). On the Hoboken side, it begins just outside the NJT/PATH/LightRail train station.

So what were the fireworks tonight for? It was way too elaborate (and awesome!) to be simply a dress rehearsal for July 4th
