they want the northern branch, the one that will go through Tenafly, to be electrified? Like, they'll build the electric towers to feed the train all along the tracks? Yeah, good luck with that. I want trains to go to as many places as possible as soon as possible and even I cringe at that thought in gorgeous Tenafly. That'll ruin the view and possibly be a hazard eating at angelique's where my dog sits down with me outside. Would I even be able to cross the tracks anymore? I'm not going to walk all the way up the street to the crossing and then back down just to cross the tracks.

looked it up

it's an admiration foods factory in Englewood. I've seen that brand before, they make restaurant-supply foods/condiments, the kind of stuff that isn't the tastiest but it's affordable and in large containers.

Admiration Foods

ohhhhhh OK I see. On the Camden river line pics you just posted, that section in the middle of the train is the engine and fuel. Neat. So how do they connect cars? Or do they just not do that?

Its like a regular train , you can walk through the Engine to get to the other....its actually pretty quiet compared to the Locos. You don't even smell the fuel , and the seats are pretty comfortable compared to the Urban buses and Newark and Hudson LRT where they use hard padded plastic seats.

Yes it would be cheaper in the long run , they use smaller poles and more nicer ones along the street running or downtown sections. Sometimes you won't even see the wires , oh please Tenafly isn't like Weehawken where they have a view to ruin.... Yes you would be able to cross the tracks , its not like a commuter line...

Margandella, maybe call CSX? They own all the rail lines around here (other than some of the passenger ones). If you're calling because you're interested in the potential nuisance, just tell them. I'm sure they already get that a lot.
