any cyslist in Hudson county (Jersey City, Union City: club, bike, area)

Anyone from Hudson county area cycle or just leisurely ride their bikes? Specifically Hoboken, Union City, Jersey City area.

I'm looking to get people together that ride at a similar pace in the area. I have a fixed gear. Short 5 mile trips are ok for me as well as 20 mile trips. Any speed also OK as long as we're not snailing around. I dont mind going to NYC either, but not a fan of a lot of rolling hills.

Wasn't there a plan for bike lanes in JC , UC , and NB?

I'm not too sure and it doesn't concern me THAT much, but it is nice.

Hoboken has a "bike lane" going towards the 9th st Congress lightrail stop that I saw. I tried to use it and it was terrible. It sent me down a one way that had a stop sign on every corner. Id rather just zip around on my own.

I'm sure in time though there will be more bike lanes.

westwood velo has guys on the "team" which is really just a club from hudson counter. theere is also a team in hoboken
