Those teenagers, minors or not need to die a slow painful death. Forget wasting the money on any type of rehabilitation for these animals. When you're a teenager and you still dont know right from wrong your a lost cause. More out of the taxpayers wallets to house and feed these criminals for the next 30 yrs or if our great justice system lets them out after 10 with "good behavior".
Condolensces to the family of this man who was doing nothing more than sitting on a park bench bothering no one. Poor guy didn't have a chance.
There was a similar incident in Old Bridge a few weeks back; that too was by a group of teenagers.
In the video, the victim seems to just sit there calmly for a minute while the teens put a sheet in front of him. I expected it to be something that would be so fast that the victim could not have possibly reacted. Someone they interviewed for the news story said that the victim was supposedly drunk and kept touching the one teen. Even if that were true, it certainly doesn't excuse them for killing him, but it seemed very odd to me that someone would just sit there on a park bench when someone else is putting a sheet in front of their face.
Why? Crime occurs there too. It's technically a city, as there's some illegals hanging out along Broad St. in the morning looking for work, graffitti, robberies near the station, scattered low-income housing, etc.

Would you be surprised if Newark went 6 months without a murder? That's where Obrero is coming from.
Have you seen this video? I wouldn't want to watch it, and it horrifies me that it is out there to be watched.
The Channel 7 webpage about it (the OP linked to it in the first post) has a video clip of their news broadcast. In that broadcast, they showed a portion of the crime video--the portion immediately before the victim was first struck.
WTF is wrong with these kids? They're little punks. I'm sure they'll each receive a similar beating from someone much more physically imposing at East Jersey or Rahway.
