Real Estate Taxes in Jersey City (HOA, condo, how much)

Hi all,

I have a question about property tax in Jersey City. Let's say I am interested in buying a 2 bedroom condo in the 200K price range and about 800-900 square feet. What's a rough estimate of how much property tax I would pay in a year? Any links to where I can find this information would be much appreciated as well.

Also, does anyone have an idea of how much I would pay per month in condo maintenance fees?

Use zillow.com. On the property page there are a bunch of graphs including "Tax Assessment" and "Tax Paid".

Thanks for the site. It was pretty useful, but a lot of the properties I clicked on did not reveal information about the taxes on the property or the maintenance of the condo.

Do a search in GSMLS.com

It gives taxes on every property you look at, and gives HOA info on most propertys.
