I read about Hopewell Boro in NY Times

Hopewell is a tiny town just north of Trenton with virtually no crime. It has a nice little downtown section and close to abundant nature.
IDK about the West Trenton line, ask the member Nexis4Jersey, he knows all about the Public Trans in NJ. You should definitely check into the NJ thread for more input, When I lived in Trenton, Hopewell was noted as one of the more affluent suburbs in the area.

Plus Princeton is not too far away as well. It's very woodsy in that general area- Good luck and welcome to CD.
