I am planning to buy a house in New Jersey and i will be working in Jersey City,NJ.
I currently rent an apartment in Woodbridge,NJ and it is convenient for my commute and I also like the neghbourhood.
But i also wanted to look at other locations to buy the house.
I am looking to buy between low 300's to high 300's.(I can go upto low 400's if the location/house is really impressive)
My son is 1 yr and will be interested in a neighborhood with good schools.(if not excellent).
I prefer my commute to be around or less than 1 hr each way.

I was told the other areas i could be looking at are Metuchen, East Brunswick and South Brunswick
which are easier commute to Jersey City and fit my other criterias also.
I am also willing explore further south NJ(Bordentown,Chesterfield, Windsor areas etc.,).

Any suggestions on other areas i could be looking for.
