Congrats to them. They must have a good program in the town because i remember them winning it back in the 90s.

Must be something in the water. I think they said it was technically a different league than the one from the 90's.

LOL. I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I got a chuckle out of that one, given Toms River and all.

It is a different league than the one in the 90s that won it all. There are two leagues in town - TR National and TR American. TR American was the league whose team went to the World Series about ten years ago. This year, it's national. I believe a couple of the kids from that team in '99 actually went on to get signed to minor league contracts. One of them may have had a couple ML appearances.
