My family is moving next year to Long Hill Twp, NJ. Hubby and I both work in the World Financial Center - NYC Downtown Area. We were originally house hunting and looking at Berkeley Heights and Summit given their Train Stations, but understood from residents that there is over a 1-yr wait for train station parking permits in those towns. Does anyone know how easy or difficult it is to get a parking permit for the train stations in Stirling or Gillette, NJ?

Many, many thanks!

can't help on your question, but in general, one year is not bad. There are train stations that are 4-7 year waits. Most places have daily spots that fill up early, but ifyou really find a house you like in Summite/BH, then go for it and just go in early for a year (then you can get the raise to pay for the taxes)
