Exactly! I moved to NC from NJ 2 years ago and I am constantly asked if everyone from NJ is like this. I find I am always defending my wonderful home state (which I do with pride).

I have not posted much because I experienced a major tragety in my life. My husband passed away 2 1/2 weeks after we returned from a cruise, Heart Failure. And Yes I am staying in TN in this same house. Its paid for so I have no reason to move.
So sorry to hear that Diane. I hope you and the family are doing well.

How many of you have watch much of this show? Im a 24 year old from Indianapolis and trust me I don't watch the show in order to get my news from New Jersey. Also the people they show really aren't all that different from regular 20 something people all over the country. Maybe they are a little more loud and crazy but not really. Mostly I just hear them tell jokes and clown on girls. They are characters, most of the people I hang out with are characters to so I don't really notice anything. They are pretty resemblent of most 20 something lower/middle class people I know.

Now that is downright scary....happy to report the 20 somethings I know are in no way like Jersey Shore characters
