YEA YEA drinking is ok too but what are some other good things to do in NJ... I've been to the shore did all those things but soon that will end. Looking for some fall/winter ideas.

Well... you could still come to the Shore area and party, go to the beach, go boating/fishing, etc. The best time of the year here is September! The party fishing boats run all fall and winter long, including some awesome overnight trips offshore. And just wait 'til striped bass season starts in October! There are more people on the beaches than in July half the time!
I've actually always found North Jersey a kinda boring place in general (no offense to anyone who lives there... just my opinion, and probably because NYC is so close and people go there instead) but I guess you could go to NYC and hang out? There are plenty of fun fall things to do there. Some people like skiing and snowboarding during the winter. Not my thing, but there are some beautiful areas up in northwest Jersey where you can do all of that stuff.
For anyone up north: Cranford is a very bike-friendly town. I have a friend who lives there and is really into it. Some scenic areas by the river, too. Not a bad town at all.
I lived there for exactly two months, but don't remember it because they were the first two months I was alive.
i think hiking and biking are great activities in many areas of the state. in pennslvania, i always liked going for a drive to some random place. driving in nj is not likeable though.
I agree on the hiking trails ... the D&R Canal has some wonderful ones. There's also bowling/billiards, with tournaments and leagues opening up in the fall, typically. If you're into plays, there's a great playhouse in New Brunswick. There's also a nice comedy club there.
A/C gambling, South Mountain Reservation, Watchung Reservation, Ice Rinks, Roller Skating Rinks, Skiing, NJ Symphony Orchestra, Paper Mill Playhouse, Liberty Science Center, The Aquarium in A/C,
Horseback riding, River tubing, Englishtwon Flee Market, Wineries, Helicopter & Airplane rides or shows, Skydiving, Paintball, Ballooning, farm tours.
Don't know what you like, but don't think one would be bored if they don't want to be.
