I parked in a Hoboken garage (Hudson & 2nd Street garage) so I could go and do some volunteer work at the local homeless shelter on 3rd. I arrived at 5:00pm, and when I came back to my car at 9:00pm, I didn't notice till it was too late, the ticket said I arrived at 12:00pm. I had to pay all that extra money- I was livid and tried arguing with the guy, but it was too late, and my fault for not noticing.
Never have I ever parked in a Hoboken garage again- I park on the street.
There's plenty of free street parking in Fort Lee if you are willing to look ... Don't pay a garage if you don't have to.
Thanks. I was actually worried about the hurricane and wanted to put my car somewhere for the day. Maybe I am being paranoid.
