By the time you get the delivery and tax...Bob's is not that cheap and most of the stuff does not last. I've had terrible luck with them. I'm a big IKEA fan for cheap furniture. There is one in Elizabeth and you only pay 3.5% sales tax.

If you dont really care about quality and plan on changing/upgrading in the next 5-6 years anyway, there is Bobs(Woodbridge) or Value City(East Brunswick). A step up from there, IMO, would be Ashley Furniture(Linden) or Ikea(Elizabeth Seaport - if you don't mind that style) Otherwise there is Raymore & Flannigan(Woodbridge) . I think Levits, Fortunoff, and Seamans are all closed now.

I did mean Wegmans! It was Monday!!!! :-)

As far as Bob's goes, I furnished my entire 2 bedroom apartment there 4 years ago including living room, dining room and kitchen and the stuff is still like new. I looked at Ashley and found the stuff to be of equal quality to Bob's for a higher price.

Why don't you try Unclaimed Freight in Somerset.
Furniture is good and cheap, but delivery service is really bad - lazy people and expensive service (not a big deal)

I am interested in getting some cheap furniture from Unclaimed Freight.

I went to the Unclaimed Freight website thinking I could get an idea of prices, but there are none listed.

Can anyone give me a ballpark range of what you pay there? I purchased an Ashley sofa and loveseat for $599 and $579 respectively. How much would I pay for similar items at Unclaimed Freight? Do they have name brands? What's the discount like?
Thanks for any info.
