i dont get it!

rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful, judgemental, etc...

I've been here for 26 yrs, and it seems to be getting worse and worse.

road rage, fights, name calling, littering... why can't anyone be nice and polite anymore?!!

come on jersey, make some changes!!! LETS BE MORE FRIENDLY!!!

it is because we all work 55hours a week to pay for our expensive run down homes with high taxes, then spend the weekend maintaining it. so we are always angry and in a rush because there is no time to do anything relaxing.

very true!! if only our property taxes would get cut 50%, maybe people would actually say hi, or hold the door open for you!

It entirely depends where you are from and where you live. Generally NJ'ers are rude, but my new neighborhood no one says thank you for letting them cross in front of you or opening the door. It drives me crazy. Don't they know I don't HAVE to do these things. At least now I am a bit more like them, I don't do any courteous gestures unless they look like a decent person, a woman, or elders.

I find just as many rude and mean people in all of the other states I've been to. They just talk and walk slower. A slow jerk is just as jerky as a quick jerk though.
