Any suggestions. A co-worker asked me who just got here from another country.

Looking to stay around 2.5 hours each way. He has a wife and a 9 year old daughter. He said he isn't interested in Washington DC.

Thanks for any suggestions!

He could take Amtrak to Boston , its only 1.5-2hrs and 45$ form Newark Penn to Back Bay or South Station. Kids ride for a reduced price , or for free depending on the Thanksgiving set up this year. You can get up and walk around the train , there are tables. The seats are huge , bigger then the average car seat. There is a cafe car and 2-4 bathrooms per car. Boston is a very nice city to be during Thanksgiving form what i'm told.

Go into Manhattan on Wednesday night and watch them inflate the balloons for the parade.
