There are a few resources you can check out, [url=http://www.citymommy.com]CityMommy[/url] (north jersey) for local information, meetup.com has an active mom's group North Jersey Moms Meetup Group. Both of these resources do tend to focus more on Edgewater, North Bergen, Fort Lee, Englewood areas.
In Haworth, NJ (one town over from Closter - less than 10 minute drive) there is a Moms group info is available through the Haworth Library.
My youngest goes to Palisades Country Day and I am very happy with the school. Both kids go to summer camp there and it is so much fun.
Other preschools in the Closter area: Lindgren School and Jack in the Box.
We are moving to Closter and have two young kids. I am in a Moms Club where we are now and would love to find something similar! Any suggestions?

I am a new mom a few towns over from you..I joined a group on meetup.com, you can search via your zip code..its tthe NJMoms Meetup group. I am 5 min from you if you want to do a playdate or go for a walks..we just moved from Louisville.
