Hello,

I was wondering what is the best way to go about finding and securing jobs in Cherry Hill, NJ while still living in SC.
My husband and I are moving because his job is closing here, he is a cable technician with an extensive background in construction.
We chose Cherry Hill, NJ because I am finishing my degree to be a teacher in January and am looking to be a teacher. In the meanwhile I work as an administrative assistant and at a pre school. Also NJ will be good for him because he is in school to be a pharmacist and they have a great program near by.
We are both trying to find jobs and place to live before we move. If any one has any info to any aspect of this it would be greatly appreciated! Also does anyone know it the Resume Upgrade on CareerBuilder is a good idea? I am almost tempted to try it.

Funny that you are moving from SC to NJ, my husband and I are moving from NJ to SC.... I can only tell you one thing about teaching jobs, they are becoming very hard to find here. The state is doing away with a lot of funding for schools therfore eliminating a lot of teachers.... I have 3 friends with over 15 years exp and no luck in over a year of searching. Not saying this will happen to you but just saying.

Monster, Career Builder and Indeed are very good sites, also start looking at staffing companies they seem to offer temp to perm jobs and gives you a better insight of the company you might get hired if you temp first. Manpower hires for a lot of companies here...

Good luck with your move
