The houses are beautiful, taxes are high but the schools doesn't have a high rating. Anyone have any information?

The school system is actually pretty good. A number of bond issues were passed in the last few years for new school construction and parity improvements and expansions in existing. The crowding that affected the elementary and middle schools five years ago is gone and everybody seems pretty satisfied.

We moved to WO over a year ago and researched the schools.....well my wife did since she's an educator in Manhattan. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the schools were run and the variety of programs offered.

Your best bet is to visit any school district and school you may be considering. Go to an open house and a tour.
