I just posted this because I just read it in the newspaper today. A week or so I got blasted because someone said I made this up. I guess I can read Christie's mind. Again if he feels this way why is he hiring people that make more then him?

Probably because those are posts that need to be filled and he doesn't have a way of eliminating them or lowering the salary.

"Change doesn't come cheaply, however. Forrest's salary is $174,000 — which is a lot less than Christiansen's but $1,000 less than what Christie makes. The governor has repeatedly suggested that no government employee should have a salary higher than his."

I have seen similar quotes like these - but have not found the original on the record comment from Christie

Yeah, it seems a lot of people want to put words in his mouth but none can substantiate what they claim he said.
