Default Monmouth County- Keyport
Hey All so glad I found this forum, sure beats craigs list lol. Well I did it, I am moving from Manhattan to Keyport. I spent the greater part of the day yesterday researching driving schools. Pushing 40 here and time to face that phobia. I will also be looking for work soon. I have been coming out to Monmouth for about 10 years, my dear friend just moved out of state and has yet to sell her house in farmingdale. Hope to hear from like minded fun upbeat outgoing individuals. Deb

i graduated from keyport high in 1977. lived in neighboring union beach most of my nj life

I have lived in both Keyport and Union beach in my early 20's. I loved it there. I was sad to here about the Keyport Fishery burning down. Hands down the best seafood take out anywhere.

Oh my goodness...the Keyport Fishery burned down??? I was unaware of this occurance! I lived in the area for three years and my husband and I loved to eat there!!!! What a shame!

However, Keyport is a lovely town...best of luck there!!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome ! Yes very sad about the Keyport Fishery- Heard it was from a lit cig. saw yesterday they were already working on it.

keyport being a good town is becoming a thing in the past.
i live in the trashy section. its full of immigrates. and there is a boarded up house on every corner. there was recently a murder(2nd in last 3 years) and at the high school some one pulled out a knife and almost killed somebody. fights are constantly breaking out at the high school.
