I have a friend that needs a good divorce attorney that's not going to rip her off, LOL . They moved to another state and her husband screwed her over and went back in Monmouth County. The attorney in her new state said she has to get an attorney in both states (unbelievable) to get any portion of what they also own in NJ which is a boat. If anyone can shed some light on what she should do or can suggest a good attorney I would appreciate it!

Why would you want a boat? Its a money pit. Get over the boat and move on!

It's their business, a commercial fishing boat worth $200,000. It's paid off and she paid most of it. He wants her to take the house they bought in April which is in SC and has no equity. So he wants something that's paid off and to give her something that's not paid off. What a great guy.
